19" AC Schnitzer Type II (http://www.panjo.com/buy/19-ac-schnitzer-type-ii-170944?utm_source=bimmerforums&utm_medium=bbcode&utm_campaign=auto_thread&utm_content=title)
If there's one wheel that is rarer then the type 3 19" wheel, its definitly the 19" type 2 AC Schnitzer for the E39 fitment. I purchased these a lil over a year ago. They were as the thread stated although I did have them straightened better than when they arrived. You may have seen my post requesting one front, well I found one and the set is complete again. I also found a spare rear to go along so that's 5 wheels you get. I have had no problems with these and get many compliments on my e34. Only selling because I decided it was time to change the look. You will not find another set anytime soon. How do I know this? It took me a year to find a spare rear. That's after I bought two bad sets from individuals claiming they were straight and true and they were not and I lost out on cash.
Anyways, this is the description I read on these when I purchased them:
"this set in staggered fitment and in excellent condition, so no kerb marks, but the rear 2 wheels have had 1 repair each, both rears had a hair line crack about 1 year ago and were very professionally repaired buy an engineering company that specializes in this (Class 3 welder) and as such the previous owner spent ?150 on the repair and looking at the work it is very good. He has never had an air loss or problems in the last year. These are genuine wheels and are 8.5jx19 ET15 & 9.5jx19 ET21.5 I am showing the pictures so you can see the welds prior to me getting them refurbished as once painted you wont be able to tell how good the job was.
I would ask people not to comment on this thread about the fact they have had a harline crack and repaired, there is numerous other threads on this and the bottom line is it either bothers you or it doesnt, if it does your not buying them if it doesnt and your interested, then fire away any questions. the repair is top notch and like i said previously they have been driven on for the past year with no issues."
The repair was top notch and I have had no problems out of these wheels, no air leaking, vibrations, etc. I even took them to my wheel repair guy a few weeks ago just to have them double checked and they spin true, if you do not want a wheel that has been welded, please do not comment, let those who do not mind ask questions. I am asking $2250 plus shipping for the 5 wheels...take it or leave it. I will include 4 orange AC Schnitzer hub centric rings which are 72.56mm...these wheels also are a perfect fit for e39...you just need the green ac schnitzer hub centric rings
