I've come across a 2010 335ix for sale in my area. ($24K)
It has just under 100,000 kms on it. (I'm in Canada)
I've also been looking for 335i or 335is models.
Any recomendations on the X drive. Yeh or Neh?
Also ...Is the 335is worth the extra bucks?

It really depends on your use. IS has 20 or so more HP, lots of great features (if you are an enthusiast) like a great exhaust, etc. search that one.

Living in Canada, if it were me, I would pick up an x-drive with a winter package (may be standard in Canadian cars). RWD bmw's are good in the snow with proper tires, but x-drives are amazing.

Save be up a couple of grand and lower the car and you will enjoy it.

sure you will need Xdrive for the winter. even with good snow tires, rear wheel drive is still struggling.

Get the 335 xdrive. You won't regret it with snow in Canada. It's going to suck this winter at some point. But if I lived in Kentucky or something I would have gotten the 335is for sure, great car!

If you're willing to pay for a 335is may as well look for a M3. It's hard to find a reasonably priced 335is in Canada (I'm here also).

Sometimes I wish I had x-drive, sometimes I love having RWD. RWD is funner, just less practical and sucks when you accelerate in the snow.

Ive never had a problem with RWD and winter tires in Toronto. xDrive isn't necessary in my opinion but you do whatever your comfortable with. 335is is a beautiful car, if you can find one that they are selling for a reasonable price, i would looks at it for sure.

This is my 335 on a set of X-ices in the snow

I'm in Alberta, Edmonton area. I don't have issues driving in the snow, except I guess acceleration is better with AWD; you spin a little in RWD.

Nice looking car.
Not sure how much I'll drive it in the winter.
Probably just park it when the white stuff arrives.
