Hi Guys,
First time poster here. I bought my first BMW slightly used adult driven (which is always good). I checked out the car fax and everything seemed on point. So I bought my car (2008 328xi coupe). Let me start off by saying I love this car. It's definitely everything its made out to be. Only thing I had done was an oil change which had to be done when I bought the car. I live in Suffolk County New York so I took my car to Competition Smithtown BMW and of course they were giving me the run around to replace some pretty useless stuff (micro filters etc.) Everyhthing has been great so far but right now I think i have an issue somewhere.
Issue: I warmed my car up the other day for about 10 minutes prior to leaving and when I went outside to leave i hear a ticking sound. Anyway's i had to get to work so I drove to the train station and it was gone when I got there. Next time I started it there was no noise, so I thought everything was all good and maybe the issue was gone. Well I drove it today and hear the noise when i got to the train station again. I took a video of it but its through an iphone so the sound quality isn't the best. You can hear the ticking at about 9 seconds and more so towards the end of the video.
Specs: 2008 328xi Coupe
Does anyone know what this could be?
