Steering Rack Question

Hi folk! I usually don't post much but have lurked around got a while and reading and buying items. I'm doing a front end overhaul for my 97 M3 Sedan and need some advice on the Z3 rack replacement. I found this site and the prices seem right. My question is, which year of the Z3 is the best rack to you for my car. The link is below for reference. Thanks in advance!

Also, can anyone recommend a website for purchase that can take a M3 core in exchange for the Z3 rack?

Try Rack Doctor. I think there are a few others out there that is the only one I know offhand.
