Hi All, I was replacing the valve cover gasket on my E90 BMW 325I and found that the two of the valve cover bolts were broken off. Unfortunately, there is no part of the broken shaft extending above the block hence there is nothing to grab with say vise grips. Also, the two bolts are in the rear of the engine where clear access to them is very limited. Also the bolts are adjacent to each other thus creating a gap where the oil leak is occurring. From what I understand broken bolts here are quite common. Does anyone have any quick fixes that would solve the problem without having to tap out the broken bolts? I was thinking of using some type of permatex form-a-gasket sealant and was wondering if anyone has experience with it. Thanks for your input
