Timing chain

Hi everybody ,
Please give me adivce about when i have to change timming chain if is necessary.My car is e 92 coupe, 320 d, 184 bhp, 2011,76000 km.I read that is a lot of problems with yhis engine.I think that i hAve a noise ,maybe from this chain but bmw service say that is normal,i don t know what to do now.

It's very expensive to change the timing chain on an N47 engine; I wouldn't bother because BMW did make improvements from 2007 and on and it's very unlikely to break. Yes, it's scary but the chances of it breaking are quite slim, even though the press reports make it sound like a certainty.
