Hey guys i am not new to this forum just to this section. I have an e34 540/6 coil overs/lsd/sway bars ect.
I use it for as many forms of Motorsport as i can. Last night i wen't drifting and try'd the 360 again. I have got close a few times(2nd gear), i get to like 340-350 degrees and i do drive it out i just lack that last touch of rotation. Any ideas? More speed haha:buttrock
My buddy shot a video but it is pretty poor so idk if should post it. The only good 5 series 360 i know of is the old top gear review of the e39 m5 and he nailed it!

I wouldn't expect getting the full rotation to be a problem. My first run after a six year break from drifting in my E46 325i I did far too hard of a clutch kick initiation for a full 360... then got on it too quickly on the recovery and made it a 720. If you're just trying to do that in a parking lot it shouldn't be that hard. Turn in, cluch kick and tweak how hard you initiate and what speed you do it at until it comes around the whole way.

You need weight transfer. Try a manji entry.

With a car like that you will have to throw a 180, clutch in, turn wheel back to center, let the car continue to rotate then clutch kick at about 270-300 degrees to keep the cars forward momentum. Remember to do the biggest flick into it that your insides can handle.
If you had a lot of angle and power, you can on throttle power 360.

Well to explain it as simply as possible you need to flick the car the opposite direction of the turn, before your normal initiation point.

This is how you would do it. But instead of coming off throttle or riding ebrake to make the proper initiation you would want to stay on throttle and flick the car hard the other way. This would provide much more weight transfer and the momentum from going the other way to help carry you the full 360.
Hopefully that makes sense.
