I have a 1990 535i E34, I know relatively nothing about rims, offsets, and all of the rest .... and want to replace my stock ones. I read that they should be staggered for better fit. I found these (http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialPartNumber=BR788520B1879BML&wheelMake=Bremmer+Kraft&wheelModel=BR07&wheelFinish=Black+w%2FMach+Lip&showRear=no&autoMake=BMW&autoModel=535i&autoYear=1990&autoModClar=&filterFinish=All&filterSize=All&filterBrand=All&filterSpecial=false&filterNew=All&filterWeight=All&sort=Brand), and was wondering what would be the correct tire sizes for these and could i just buy 4 and use them both for front and back ?

Thanks

E34 can take wheels with offset from around 10mm - 20mm, so they should be okay, bolt pattern is right. They do not need to be staggered, it would just give you more rear traction by having wider wheels at the back but you wouldn't be able to rotate your tyres front to back with staggered fitment.
The correct tire size would be the recommend one on that site: 235/40R18, this also keeps the overall diameter of the tire within spec. The center bore should be 72.5mm if it is slightly larger (for example E39 is 74.1mm) you can use hub rings, if it is smaller they wont fit.

This info is to the best of my knowledge, I'm no expert.

I'm not sure about the quality, they are made in China and seem pretty cheap for a new set of 4 wheels. Personally I would just find some original BMW wheels that I liked (from E34 or E39), but its your decision, I really haven't done much research on aftermarket wheels.

I've got ET20 replica E60 Msport (pretty good quality alloy with E39 bore and hub rings) which sit perfect up front but tuck under a bit too much up the back and may look better with a spacer, this is because they're not staggered. But I dont think any stock rims for the E34 were, it started with E39 iirc. (edit: Tstars were) The advantage is you can rotate your tires.

The guy at the tire shop said 245s are too wide for my 18x8s and put on 235/40/r18, Conti mc5, I have nothing bad yet to say about them except I need to tire shine them every 2 weeks or the Aussie sun makes them get a red/browny discolouration

Ultimately unless internet consensus is they're awesome or rubbish you won't know the rim quality until you get them (and see how heavy they are and many wheel weights they need to be balanced)

Wow OK, thanks guys I guess I might think about buying them. Do you guys have any better suggestions for black rims around this price range ~ 100-200 ? I know that not much but its what I can work with.
