Good day folks
In my quest to obtain all parts for my my touring conversion I've hit a spot that searches havent solved. correct part # for above is:33532227638 it is NLA. I hate those 3 letters!
Next closest spring is m5 sedan/540 m sport # 33532226288
This leaves me with two starting questions
Does the sedan spring come in a higher, incremental rate to compensate for the touring rear weight?
Does anyone have a VIN for a European (obviously) 540 touring with sls and m sport (edc) suspension? That is even if it exists... I could search the spring part # and go from there.
I know there are those of you out there with vast knowledge of springs and rates. The problem is almost all discussion is based upon sls, edc delete or if retaining it using the original springs. I would replace high mileage springs regardless, also I dont wish to have the sls compensate for improper spring/rate.
BTW, I have a 540 msport (automatic) I'm doing an edc delete on before I sell it, thus the edc components availability for rebuild/placement.
I am really looking forward to some solid ideas.
