best winter tires for 94 e36

I live in Wisconsin and need to know the best winter tires for my 94 325is. I've debated selling the car and upgrading to something newer because the rear-wheel drive isn't ideal for winter driving.

Are there any winter tires that I can drive through snow that will make the car handle/brake well?

On my e30 I use General Altimax Ice snows, a friend of mine had an e36s with blizzacks and that was a champ in the snow.
