Hi all. I believe I've got some bulbs out in the dash. For instance the ASC light nor the cruise control light work but both function properly. Would I have to take a good chunk of the dash apart to get to them or is there a simpler way?
Thanks

The easiest way to pull the cluster is by pulling the steering wheel. Now, You can unscrew the two screws at the top and shimmy it out the side of the steering wheel, but it is a pita. At least it was for me.
-Decide which way you want to do it.
-Pull your steering column telescoping all the way out
-Take power off
-Unscrew two screws
-Tug out on the cluster enough to get your behind the cluster and push down all the levers for the connectors
-Pull cluster out
-Change bulbs, test.
Like this guy, however you probably won't be able to pull it through the steering wheel

If you remove the steering wheel, make sure you disconnect the battery first or you will have an airbag light... If its not burnt out.

Even if it is burned out or removed the SRS light will still glow, there is an LED "backup" bulb.

I just happen to know that this is a fact. Any idea back disable the back up bulb?

I put electrical table over the SRS logo (behind it within the cluster)
Worked ever since

Maybe find the root of the issue and have the comfort of knowing that you fixed something?

I know the root cause. I replaced my steering wheel with a non-air bag wheel. I disconnected the airbag module under the dash prior to re-energizing the system but I still got the blinking SRS light. Removed the SRS bulb since I now have a non-functioning SRS system only to have some type of dim back up bulb that still blinks. Removed the instrument cluster a second time to find no visible means for the still existing blinking SRS light. A reset will do no good now since the system is no longer fully intact. However, I did not screw the system up permanently where it cannot be restored in the future if so desired.
