I have been through both the Bentley and the factory service manuals, but neither one of them can be specific of where the fuel filter on my '95 E34 530i Sedan with the M60, factory date 8/95 is located. Reading through numerous posts state it might be in the passenger wheel well, or under the passenger seat. I haven't climbed under the car yet so I guess I'm just looking an a good starting point.

At least on a 95 540 its under the car on the passenger side by the diff. Have a look at this diy if you want to change it out and for pics. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?1241177-*DIY-E34-540I-Fuel-Filter-Replacement-DIY

Thread highjack, sorry... Mine has the two filters (9/1994). Do I replace with two filters or change over to the single?
