Picked up the OEM (?) roof rack for my e34 (in picture) I was wondering if there were known attatchments that went onto it, or what companies stuff works on it (if any?) any information would be great id like to get a spoiler for the wind noise and a bike rack eventually..

Are they square cross bars? I'd measure how big they are and Thule or Yakima might work out for you.
I have the OEM touring aero cross bars and I'm having a difficult time finding bike rails that mount onto them since they're so wide.

John,
There are oem bike carriers for the aero bars, try finding them though... ;)
I got rid of the bars pictured above because of the lack of accessories.
Tourings have it easier due to the tracks, but still a challenge. I used Thule 430 feet and the rack setup off my 4Runner.

A friend of mine in the UK recently found a NIB set. Don't think he'll part with them though :D

This one? I just received mine a month ago. Shipping was pricey obviously but I thought the price was pretty reasonable considering the amount they charge for other things that say bmw on them.

I just did this to my touring last week. I modified racks off of an expedition and they work great. Looks like it was made for it. Cost only 40.00 and some time in the workshop. (Sorry I missed that you were asking about cross bars for a sedan rack. I guess i will leave this up in case someone finds it interesting)

Hey man, I just happened upon this pic you posted almost a year ago- I was wondering if you had posted any more info about this so I can do the same thing. Any advice on what kind of racks to look for?
Cheers!
Lucas
