E34 M Parallel Tire Setup

I am looking for help with tire sizes. I have an '89 E34 535i with Bilstein sport shocks and H&R sport springs. I have a set of E38 M parallel wheels staggered (8.0x18, 9.5x18). What size tires will fit without rubbing? From what I have read I should try 245/40R18 front, 275/35R18 rear. Does anyone have experience with this setup? Thanks.

E34s can take pretty low offsets, and e38 mpars should fit really nicely with the tire setup you suggested.
