Hey all,

I may have a dumb question here, but I'm a newbie to suspension and suspension upgrades. My 2011 328i sits a bit too high I think, and would like to give it a little bit of a more aggressive look. However, I do not want to spend big $$$. Is it possible to lower an e90 with only lowering springs? I don't want to change struts or anything. Again I am not familiar with the process or what is needed, I am open to all comments and any help!

Thank you!

Not sure dude, I think you should match struts with springs.

Unless you can find a company that did verification/testing to verify the lower springs will work OK with the original struts. Like Dinan (Crazy expensive) uses only lowered springs for front replacement keeping the original struts for xi models.

There are a few companies that have lowering springs available. Not familiar with vendors on here but I am sure they have them as well

Any spring that lowers the car about an inch will work just fine with stock shocks ... usually Eibach, H&R OE sport springs and such are all designed to work with the stock shocks.

Look on tirerack.com and see what they have.
