bought a e36 m3 dropped with coilovers (black and gold, but I don't know the brand) and aftermarket swaybar (blue in color, but I don't know what brand it is). The car had the stock swaybar endlinks, but they were on their way out, so I figured I would replace them. I bought a stock replacement set of Moog non-adjustable links rather than shell out the $150 for adjustable links. I did notice that the stock links were a bit long given the coilover setup, but they did fit, so I didn't think I would have an issue with the Moog replacements.

I installed the Moog parts and they definitely were too long and would hit the control arms. I compared the Moog parts to the original swaybar links that I took off the car (which look like stock OEm Lemforder or whatever). The Moog links measured at roughly 9.5" (part number I looked up shows as 241mm). THe links I took off the car was 9.25", which fit, but are slightly longer than "perfect." I'm thinking a 8.5"-9" would be perfect for this setup.

Anyone run into this issue and know of a part that would work for me? I know the adjustable endlink is the obvious solution, but I like the idea of a cheap non-adjustable that does the same job. My cost on the moog or lemforder parts are less than $20 rather than $1XX for the adjustable links...

Thanks!

I bought someone's custom short ones. I would actually like them longer. The longer the links are the better they will work.

Adjust-ability was necessary for corner balancing, though I could have done the adjustment on my struts instead.

Black and Gold? got pictures either AST or ISC,

You want the bar level to the ground.

those links above look horrible.. Just a threaded rod with cheap rod ends...

Technically you just need one side to get pre load out. You can cut, shorten, and weld the stock ones not ideal but it works.

i had the same issue, trying to find shortened KW links without breaking the bank..

I'm using 97 mazda 323 OEM # b26r34170 it is 190MM , the KW/FK coils use 180mm but this is the cheapest non adjustable option. 15ea hope this helps you out.
