Does anyone have this upgrade and how much of a difference does it make? I've been looking for one for my e92 and the consensus seems either oem or uuc. I'm leaning towards oem because uuc seems to have a bad rep for customer service. Just wanna hear some opinions before I plop down $365

We don't have a bad rep for customer service except by those that don't give us the opportunity to help them. ;-) We do occasionally have backorders simply because our products are in such high demand, it's difficult to manufacture quickly enough. But typically, if our website shows "in stock", then your order will ship within 24 hours.
If you're considering OEM (or any OEM-based brand), then you want to review this info:

Hope that helps!

Well i've read numerous threads about slow responses(sometimes none at all) and months of waiting to receive an order. How long does a ssk take to make? Do you wait until receiving a certain number of orders before starting the manufacturing process?
Has the latest ssk addressed the slop issues as noted by some users?

We respond to 100% of inquiries that we receive by the next business day. As for email, a lot of email doesn't get through and nobody should ever think "I sent an email, they must have gotten it". Same with phone messages.
We do request that any customer service questions come to us via phone as email invariably lacks detail. A quick phone conversation finishes up within minutes what can take days by email.

Shifter parts are in constant production but our kits are extremely popular (#1 seller at most distributors!). We have not had significant shifter wait times in about two years since our facilities build-out at that time.

That was exclusively a brief issue from three years ago (see date on the Youtube video). All kits whose owners contacted us retrofitted (that's what a lifetime guarantee gives you!). Current kits won't exhibit that.
