You have sport package , so pirelli p zero nero is the best option for that.

I like the Michelin AS3 I got for my car. Non-runflat. No spare. I live dangerously.

Actually, the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 ZP is a RFT, and that's what I'm running. (Manny is thinking Pilot Super Sport). IMO, the PS2ZP is better than the Bridgestones; also it performs almost as well as the PSS although it doesn't last as long.

I think too many people worry too much about flats - I run go-flats during the winter and don't carry a spare. AAA would rescue me if needed, but I've never needed them.

I don't run a spare. If I was going on a long out of state trip I might think about it though or just have a tire patch kit and small compressor at the least.

I have the cheapest ever: Nexen N3000. Not run flat without a spare, directional so no rotating them. They have excellent grip, so far...

Cool , will see in one year :) I had my rears -falken about the same price. In one year they became completely chopped.

I have gone non-RFT in my past 2 E9x's over the past 5 years, and have never had a spare. I only blew a tire once in those 5 years, but the pothole took out front and rear tires, so a spare wouldn't have done any good anyway.

Just have a roadside service through AAA or something similar. The ride on non-RFT is much better then RFT anyway, plus they are cheaper and you have many more options.

So far I'm running Nankags noble sport. I bought the car with new rear ones installed so I purchased new front ones to match. I'll replace them next time with bf Goodrich sport comp 2.

What region do you live in? The roads in nj and nyc suck! I just bought a 335is with the oem run flats on 19's. I'm debating on what to do, buy the wheel and tire protection for $2000 or just take a gamble. I haven't driven into manhattan yet cause in scurrrred !

I live in Minneapolis, there are tons of potholes too. I run 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 in the summer (still a lot of pot holes in spring) and haven't had any issues with flats. I do have a few slight bends in my rims due to potholes, but no tire damage. Plus the non-RFT are much cheaper to replace, and they ride a lot better too.

Yea I'm gonna skip the insurance and as soon as I get a flat on any tire, I'm gonna swap all of them out for non rft's. I know the Michelin pss are highly regarded but I'm reading good things about the a/s 3 all seasons. That would be great since I wouldn't have to have a separate set of wheels/tires for the winter.

Yea I think I'm gonna skip the insurance and get some non rft tires. I'm hearing good things about Michelin a/s 3 all seasons. I'll get the tire rack tire warranty.

Yea I'm most likely gonna skip the protection plan and buy a set of non rft and get the tire warranty. I'll just get any cracks repaired. I was set on getting Michelin pss but I'm reading really good things about the a/s 3 all seasons. That would be nice not having to switch out a different set of tires come winter.

If someone here have 225/45 r17 run flats Pirelli in good condition (like less than 2000miles)
and want to exchange on Michelin pilot sport a/s 3 (2 month old) I'm glad to do that even with surcharge?
wanna go back to Pirelli , Michelin is too soft for me:)
