Started getting condensation in my driver side headlight and then got the adaptive headlight cel on dash. Brought it to the dealer and they just quoted me a replacement price of $2100 . I have been looking on eBay and Internet for the unit but it's difficult to tell if the adaptive motor comes with some of these replacements.
Can anyone help me with a schematic and/or reasonable place to purchase these pieces?

Try ecs tuning.

They always want you to replace whole unit.
first try to understand what the cause of the warning light, read error codes.
maybe it's just stepper motor controller failed - up to 200$ with coding.
try to take off the lamp and look where is the leak, maybe you can just disconnect xenon unit, smc, lamps and dry it , check if motors didn't get out of theirs correct place and then treat all connections with contact cleaner and rejuvenator.
assemble back and check if it works.
but the main thing is to get error codes, after that you can go futher

Actually If error code is not smc failure and you are going to replace everything with new I would by your smc :) I need it:), of course if you sell
