BMW launched the 8 Series in 1989 for the world to enjoy. Here in 2014 we are all privileged to own one of the finest automobiles ever built and now we need to celebrate it. This is the 25th year the 8 Series has been on the road and to commemorate this great event the SoCalEights car club has organized a 25th Anniversary Celebration & BBQ for all its members and friends to enjoy. This will be the largest gathering of 8's since the 10th Anniversary of the Left Coast Eight Fest! 25th Anniversary T-shirts are available to be ordered when you buy your ticket. The shirts are black with the black SoCalEights Anniversary logo. All BMW models welcome - C'mon sharks join us for some fun!

There will be 60 reserved parking spots adjacent to the BBQ site - 8 Series will have priority, with other parking next to the venue. Parking will be $10 per car at the park entrance (unfortunately we couldn't defer this, it goes to support the Park). In addition to the BMW Bicycle South Bay BMW (http://www.southbaybmw.com/) is also supplying other great raffle items. All the food and drinks will be catered by Chris & Pitts BBQ. We'll also hold an informal car show and will hand out 3 "People's Choice" awards going to those who got the most votes in the three categories (so bring a clean car). There will be a special presentation to an individual who has supported SoCalEights over the years and deserves acknowledgement for an outstanding contribution. Come and join us for Chris & Pitts famous BBQ and enjoy the 25th Anniversary Cake (it might be shaped like a car or something).
This will be a great event so join us at beautiful Mile Square Park from 11AM - 3PM for a grand event with your fellow 8 owners. There will only be one 25th Anniversary so come along and join the crowd!!
