Friend's.... I'm having a rattling like something is loose in the front of my black beauty as we travel down the road. She has almost 300,000 on her and I've had her for the last 35,000 without any suspension work on my watch. Should I replace the front struts and suspension with all new stuff or just try to locate the individual parts causing the knocking?:help

At 300k miles, prep to change everything. Shocks, mounts, drag link, tie rod ends, sway bar links, pitman arm, shoot, even the spring pads

If the noise is farther back under the seat area, consider the drive shaft center support bearing as well.

My money's on the central drag link or drop links/tie-rod ends...
Although at that mileage have you any idea of when the last suspension work was done?!
