Driver's mirror

Ones anyone know how to open up the driver's side mirror? Had someone bumped mine and now the thing doesn't adjust right. I'm assuming there is a positive stop somewhere behind the mirror so it doesn't go to far. I need to move them, the mirror works fine but I can't move it high enough. I have a real good look at the ground ;)

I have a real good look at the ground ;) the glass mirror just pops out. Start with either side, and gently pull/pry.

hi there, i have the same problem at my left mirror ( driver side), i was at the dealer and they told me that the memory -mirror driver is not working properly and doesn't let the mirror to go all the way up, to replace that they asking for $350...i just passed...still is going up little bit but not enough the way i like it , or suppose to be properly to have a good view. if i take the glass mirror out, how i can adjust the mirror driver ? i have a 2006 bmw 330xi...thank you
