Hi everyone,

i was driving my car for about 1: 30 minutes in an 80f outside temperature on the highway. After this time my a/c unit didn't give anymore cool air. Inside cabin room was set up at 67f. After approximation two hours drive i arrive to the destination and when i checked again the car, the ac was working and under the car was a large spot of clear water. Around the city - like 10-15 minutes drive the ac is working properly. I was today at my mechanic and he told me that the system doesn't have any licks but the freon gas was low like 70 and supposed to be around 130-140...something like this.
My concern is if this problem occur again at long trips...and what is the cause and how i can fix it? Do i have to bring it to dealer?

Please can someone to explain me if this is a major problem?

Thank you in advance

Condensation is normal, this will happen anytime you use the AC. I would just recharge the freon, that is the easiest thing to do. If that doesn't fix it, then you might want to bring it in to have it looked at.

Thank you sir. I just refill the freon, i hope is not going to happen again. my car does have 117000 mile, i thought maybe something is getting "old".
