I have a 525i and I want to turbo it to make 500-600whp. I was wondering will the standard conrods and crankshaft handle this power. Im going to get forged pistons 8.5.1cr. I just dont want to buy stuff I dont need. Thanks in advance.

You'll probably be better off asking questions in the FI subforum, but yeah, you'll probably be better off with a set of rods at that power goal.

If you are going to spend money on pistons just save a little more and get a set of rods and have peace of mind. But the stock rods can handle that power!
