So Ive been searching google and all the parts suppliers I can find for the Thermo time switch part # 13-62-1-274-630 but it is NLA by all accounts. I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Please tell me there is a way I can get ahold of a new one.

Have you tried Maximillian?

Based on my experience trying to source exhaust parts here are my recommendations:

Contact numerous dealers. You may find one that has one in stock, it's a long shot.
Try several vendors. Some have sources other than BMW.
Finally, even though it shows as NLA doesn't mean it isn't still manufactured, it may still be available through a third party, and will not be a genuine BMW part.
Also keep in mind that part numbers change. This part may have been superseded by a new one.
Good luck!

Devin, That's a dealer only item. Max can get or you could order through www.penskeparts.com.

BMWCCA members get a discount.

I ended up using Maximillian last evening. Ebay kept bringing up parts that said they did not fit so I didnt want to risk that. Definitely bookmarked penskeparts. Thanks guys!

Is it too late to cancel your order?

Thermo Time Switch Part #13621274630 - Lists for $94 MSRP at the dealer and Maximillian wants $87. Penske wants the full retail $94 ..... but it can be had for $76 at getbmwparts.com; an online dealer:
www.getbmwparts.com/parts/index.cfm?make=BMW&year=&searchText=13621274630&action=oePartSearch&siteid=214672

(What is the difference in shipping?)

Here are 2 more online dealers that discount:
http://BMWMercedesparts.com/
http://ebmwparts.com/

I honestly don't know why people even bother looking at Maximillian with their prices being so high. Even local dealers are giving better prices these days. I guess is comes down to looking at them all, you never know who might have the best deal.

Penske, Pelican and others can get dealer only parts but the prices are pretty much at retail with little discount.

Unfortunately I found out that even when the part shows up on their online website catalogue it may not be available. You may get an email cancelling your order because it is NLA. This is when the real fun starts. Ask me how I know.

Yes. I meant to post earlier that one of the sites shows that it is NLA. Unfortunately I have had experiences with Maximilian where they said something was on order and they had my funds for 6-8 months. I have been ordering from them since back in the 80s and have seen many changes with them over the years. I have not ordered anything from them in the last 4-5 years.

I also order from http://www.getbmwparts.com.

On order since Sharkfest is the door weatherstripping, drivers side.

Back oredered from BMW untill Sept. getbmwparts.com keeps me up dated every week.

They gave me the option of cancelling and then later re-ordering so as not to hold my money.

I told them to keep the order open.

It's great dealing with them, had one small issue and they resolved it immediately.

There're my go to OEM parts house.

I agree. Their prices are not competitive with many dealers.
