S50B32 no idle, suggestions?

I have a friend who have a S50B32 Mroadster (same as I have BTW). He has run into a problem after many years of problem-free driving. He suddenly lost his idle. The car otherwise runs fine. He have checked the ICV which seems to work. The TPS seems also OK as does the AFM. He haven't had the possibility yet to hook it up to get codes read which is the next step of course but before he can do that - is there anyone who recognizes this and have suggestions?

Update. It was a faulty ECM module.

Can you elaborate on this please? How did you diagnose that the ECM module was the problem?
