The website shows 26 E38s are registered. I suggest we head for our normal spot, over on the interstate side of the lot.
I'm bringing a tent because it's either going to rain or be bloody hot. And since the food situation is not that great, reminder to bring some lunch.

I wouldn't want mine to be part of any show until I can afford to get the paint done. The interior will be done as the fabric for my headliner should be here soon, but definitely not the paint.

It doesn't really matter what a car looks like, this ain't Pebble Beach. There is everything from beat daily drivers to showroom fresh to high dollar builds.
I have always entered shows mainly for the good parking spot.

Man, I would totally go to this if I felt the rest of the car were ready for that long of a trip. I really need to get some coilovers and new front tires and repair the bend in the front right wheel. Then, if I still haven't fixed my 75-85 mph vibration, I will need to likely replace the CSB and front diff bushing. Ugh!

I personally didn't take to many pictures, I just snapped a few with my phone, I had my friend, who's also a member here and owns a E38 come with his professional camera, he took photos and videos from NYC to Maryland, he's working on the video and editing the photos, once they done I'm sure him or myself will definitely post them.

Much luv to the E38 crew that was chilling in the back... sorry I didn't get to hang with you guys a little longer as I didn't see you until I was leaving. But to the guys whom I did speak with briefly (007008 and the others whom forum names I don't remember) thank you much on the advice on the headlight swap etc. Good Looking!! And if you know anyone selling I'm surely looking for some Style 95 rims. Would be nice to pick up local to Raleigh, NC but if I have to get them shipped then what must be done must be done.

That was my first visit to the bimmerfest, and I would be lying if I say that I wasn't expecting more... however my hats off to all of the unique whips in the parking lot. Seeing so much beauty in one spot made it worth it. Next year I will be better prepped... :-)
