I went to my car today after work and noticed that the OBC and radio were illuminated even though the car was off. Lights were not on. I checked all the fuses and nothing seems loose. Any ideas?

OMG...IT's starting!!! Send that car to to bottom of the Hudson!!! Do it man!!!
Actually you only need to do that if the radio was playing. How's the ignition switch feel? Seems to me I had a similar situation back in '69...Twas the internals in the switch. Just an idea.

Hmm. Well the ignition switch seems fine. I did just have a new steering wheel and adapter installed. I wonder if that has something to do with it. That's the only recent work we've done on car recently. It's like the further we get with this restoration the more the gremlins pop up.

Oh man...I suggest you keep both hands on the bar, cause the ride could get rough.

You can pull the upper and lower steering column covers fairly easily. Locate the wire loom at the rear of the ignition switch and trace it down to the multi connector. Unplug it and inspect for something fried/burnt. If nothing plug it back together. Sometimes the electrical switch behind the key/tumbler gets a little kaka too. That's problem with metal against plastic.

Pull fuse #12 and see if they go off. If they do you can check for voltage, with the key off, at the Violet wire (pin 4 of C200) at the connector under the steering column cover to see if the electrical portion of the ignition switch is bad.

I'll be sure to test that when I get my car back. Last night I got caught in the rain that came hard and fast and not sure what managed to get wet but my car just stalled on the highway. Got it started again and it jerked on and off but I managed to get it off onto the service road. It's back at my cousin's shop.
