I thought I would start a new topic since I have more information. To sum it all up, I got my e38 two years ago and it was running great until (so it seems) I installed a cold air intake. I do have a tune but it's by mark d which his tune does not change the a/f ratio so I am thinking this could be the issue? Anyway, since then I replaced the MAF, plugs, and the ignition coils. The problem I have been having is that at WOT my car shudders until I let off the gas and get back on it again. I recently got it looked at and the shop said I have low fuel pressure at the full pump and it's running lean. Anyone know if this could be the fuel pump? Otherwise my other thought like I said, is that it's getting too much air from the cold air intake.

How do you know it's running lean? I'm suggesting a clogged cat can and will prevent high revs, so it's worth getting that checked out! =)

Alright! When I got it looked at the guys said the fuel pressure was low at the fuel pump
