Hi guys I recently bought a 1995 E36 with an S50 swap. The car ran perfect until yesterday I shut it off and 30 minutes later it wouldn't start. When I went to start it again it went to start, there was a loud pop then it died and would bog every time I would try and start it afterwards. It starts bogs out and then I can hear a spinning noise from the engine bay. Giving it throttle pretty much doesnt effect it at all, doesnt even try to rev. Just before all this happened I had trouble getting the wheel lock in position to start the car and once it started the wheels stayed locked and I had to turn car off an fiddle with it to get them to turn. I tried push starting it and it started and drove but only for like 40 feet and was bogging down the wholr way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time!
Maybe cps or maf but since swapped could be woring issue.

The check coolant level light was on before it happened though coolant is full. My fog light/license plate lights were out so those were there too.

A loud pop sounds like maybe a fuse popped. Check your fuse box for any burnt or out of position fuses.

Same issue with me as well. No "loud pop", but the description is almost identical to my situation. Just bought a general non euro sensor to see if that is it. 20 bucks ebay. Not going to soend 100+ on factory sensor if I am not sure it is that. Encourage you to do the same.

I was also thinking to that it could maybe also be the ECU in the car. May have gotten wet. For some reason if the windshield seal is bad, it can cause leakage to the passenger side under panel where the ECU sits.
