The rubber euro rear spoiler is available through BMW $375-400? The M tech 2 piece rear spoiler is also available through BMW. $600?

You could make one of foam and fiberglass sandwich structure (like making a surfboard) for probably less than about $30. Same story with side skirts, etc.

Alpina conversion:

wheels $2000-3000

front spoiler $700-1000 plus paint

rear spoiler $500-800 if you can find one

conversion to euro bumpers with the correct hard to find here in US; 628 style front bumper.

badges front and rear $400

deco set $250-400 and 6-8 hours labor

steering wheel $250-600

shift knob ?

and the list goes on.

Sure you can get lucky and stumble on a great deal on something but hard to do that with all of the items needed. It is still good to have a plan. :)

Start with about $10K...Period correct Alpina bits are either no longer available, hard to find and bloody expensive.

An actual used BMW 635 rear spoiler occasionally appears on ebay. Price and condition vary. Expect to pay $300 up. Do not get a E28 or 535 spoiler under the assumption that it is the same body style so it should fit, because it doesn't. They look the same but are just a fraction wider.
You will probably have to wait for this item if you want a real one. Have it professionally painted and use the special double sided tape, there is a type of adhesion promoter you will also want to use. Mine stays firmly in place at 110 mph.

Keeping in mind the cost of a used BMW spoiler, coupled with the fact that its function is marketing rather than serious aerodynamics or aesthetics, the homebuilt option should be appealing both from price and functionality standpoints.

In other words, even though the factory version may be cute, popular, and expensive, it probably doesn't do squat at high speeds.

Lots of low hanging fruit on these cars, aerodynamically speaking, and improvements may not necessarily be expensive.
