First, yes I've read the end-all-be all alignment thread. It was very informative. I have some more specific questions regarding the alignment machine. Hopefully someone can answer that knows these machines.

Specs are..
99 2D M3
Vorshlag Camber Plates
PSS9's w/factory spring 'style'
Delrin lolipops
Ride height is about 10mm below stock, but front/rear is the same relative to factory settings. I think it was 10mm more in the front IIRC
Kosei K1 235/45/17 .. or maybe it's 235/35/17 w/10mm spacers up front.
Hunter maching using WinAlign (or whatever)
Primarily driven to/from track. I'm using some cheap tires for driving on the street.

Questions...

When I go for an alignment, should I put the stock wheels back on or use the Kosei's? They use a scan gun to i assume get dimensions/specs, which would be different since the wheel offsets are different than stock.

When the machine shows 0* toe on a wheel (in the middle of the horizontal bar) is that the actual measurement or the measurement relative to the factory tolerances? I see little numbers above and to the left & right of the green/red x axis graphic bar. When people say on the forums set to say 0* I presume what's meant is the actual measurement.

Before I tell him to go way out of what the machine shows as 'good' I want to make sure I'm clear on what you guys mean. My guess is Hunter is just telling the user how much off the wheel is from spec and not the (f)actual measurement...presumably to make their life easier.

I would put your Kosei's on for the alignment.

The green is going to be your "acceptable" range for the factory specs. There will typically be a range to the left and right, with the actual measurement above or below.

Yes, you want the actual toe at 0.
