My m3 bent a valve at 230k related to a cai mishap. I'm swapping in a block with a rebuilt head and vanos at ~146k. I also got the cluster for that block which would retain more value the actual mileage of the car cluster or the mileage of the new engine?

The car is very well documented and I'd like to keep it that way.
Thanks
Shawn

Thoughts anyone?

Keep the original cluster. It's more important to most buyers to know what the actual mileage of the car is even if it has a replacement motor.
