E38 some gauges not working i need help

Well my E38 has had an issue for 2 yrs. It use to be during only the winter my speedometer, fuel guage (needle does move but not correct position), mpg guage, & trip meter do not work, the ABS light and traction light comes on ,but my tach meter works but when it warms up all is ok. But to my luck since it rained last week everything is wrong again.

So i dont know where to begin i looked through the forum and i couldnt find any similar posts (that i saw). I added a picture this is at idle but i only should have 1/4 tank of gas. I checked the v.s.s and it was good but
But still clueless. The gauges stay the same regardless of speed besides tach. So any thoughts?

Obviously, the clue here is water. Water is getting into a place where it doesn't belong, a place BMW designed to be dry.
The problem with the ABS, speedo are related to the wheel speed sensor on the left rear wheel. It's not necessarily the sensor but the wiring, I bet. Afterall, the sensor probably gets wet at time and the ABS and speedo still work. I suggest you inspect the wiring harness that serves the left rear wheel speed sensor. Typically it will enter the body in the trunk or forward of the trunk. Good hunting!
