I am not an owner of a BMW, but my boyfriend has a 330cI. I believe that is the make of his car. I hate to sound ignorant, but cars are all his thing. I try to learn all that I can from him :)

I am trying to put together something for him for Fathers Day from his son and me and I thought that it would be nice to get his car detailed inside and out and to go to a BMW event. However, I am not sure where the best places are to get your car detailed (he is incredibly particular about who touches his car and usually quizzes them before he will do business with them). I also don't know where the events are in Florida in our area. We live in Citrus County which is about 45 minutes away from Ocala and about an hour and a half away from Orlando and Tampa.

Please help me lol.

Butterfly....go back to the main page on the forum and scroll down to the "Regional Section." You can post this directly into the Southeast subforum area, there is a Florida specific section. You will get the best results from over there, and maybe a mod might even see this and move it there for you.

Wish I could help, just came back from Miami for a wedding....but I am NO native. Best of luck!

It might be a safer bet to just give him a card or something with an "IOU" of sorts for the detail and what you want done

Had a girlfriend do something like this for me once, I really appreciated the thought, but it was like a $20 detail I could have done in an hour and they charged her about $160 for it. I would have much preferred being allowed to do my own shopping on it.

Nice gesture but I agree with the above.

I would not want someone "detailing" my car without my knowledge

Do want to know the best Father's day gift? COLD HARD CASH!
Don't even bother with stupid gift cards. Just put some cash in a nice envelope with a nice handwritten letter and it'll be 10x better than anything that you might get for his car.
