'83 633CSI needs help

Have 1983 BMW 633 CSI, when not starting or accelerating, almost anytime I lift off the gas the battery light comes on first, then the oil light (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?2106123-Help-Engine-shuts-down#) then the engine shuts down. It used to do it sometimes now almost all the time. Also would run jerky in second if not on the gas.

Did you take a look at grounding wiring to the battery to make sure it makes a good connection?

This happened when I bought my car, replaced the main chassis to battery ground strap and it has been good ever since.

Check for loose connector at AFM and cracks in intake boot from AFM to throttle body.

Large vacuum leak or a crummy ground would be my bet. also check your battery terminals!
