Hello all. I have recently returned to the BMW world with the purchase of an e92 coupe. My previous BMW, now gone some 15+ years was a hand-me-down '83 320i e21 which my Father was the original owner.
In 1983 or 1984 my parents took me to Germany. We visited the BMW museum. I could swear that at that time the museum building was referred to as "The Tea Cup" however I cannot find any reference to it being called that. All I can find is it being called "The Salad Bowl" or something like that. Does anyone know if my memory is screwed up regarding this?
I was down visiting my parents a couple weeks ago and found the ZEITMOTOR brochure they were handing out at that time. It's all "auf Deutsch", for some reason I also remember they didn't have them in English at that time...pretty cool stuff. I'm glad my Mom saved all that crap.
Thanks,
Walt
