Chickie

Here is my 1985 Alpine white M635CSi with 120k miles, "Chickie". I have the original TRX wheels that came on the car. Options on the car include: alarm, thermal insulated green glass, electric sunroof, rear headrests, and air conditioning. It has a Stebro polished stainless steel exhaust and e39 sport wheels with polished lips.
When my father passed last year, I ended up with his low mileage 2007 350Z roadster, a real nice car but it was an automatic. I've wanted a BMW M for quite a while and was able to trade for this (and a bit of cash on their part.) My father's childhood nickname was Chickie....hence the name of the car.
As I have gotten into the workings of the car, I've gotten lots of help from the members of this community and those of bigcoupe. I the only things I've done to the car since I got it are silicone intake reducers and replace the in-tank fuel pump. Since I did them both at the same time, I'm not sure which one, or if both of them worked, but it was like driving a different car afterwards. Ran smoother and had considerably more power. There are still a lot of projects I want to accomplish, and with further help from you, I'm sure I'll get it done. I'm glad there are people that care enough about these fine cars that take the time to help fellow fanatics keep them doing what they were meant to do.
I'm looking forward to meeting some of you (and your cars) at SESF this year!!
Frank
PS I haven't figured out how to post anything but thumbnails, I'm sure someone has posted a "how to resize your images" post, I'll search for it later.
