View Full Version : Does anyone use their winshield washer?

I took out my windshield washer tank and the hoses. I was wondering if anyone uses this? Mine sort of worked before I took it out, but it would shoot the water over the roof. I needed to remove it so I could access my timing chain tensioner. It isn't going back in either.

I guess it depends on where u live. I couldn't do without it over here with all this wet dirty spray that comes off the the road here in the winter.

I don't really use it..cuz I store my car in the winter. I only leave it in for emergencies on a rainy day.just in case.

I agree that emergencies is a good cause. Maybe if it worked I would keep it in.

I love the extra weight saved! :stickoutt (I think of everything by saving weight. :laugh )

Just look in the above message!

I like the extra room though. Doesn't really save much weight. Wait until I rip out that a/c! Then there will be a lot of weight saved!

I do use it because my car sees alot of daily driving...it is not completely necessary though...espcially if you're not driving your car in the cold...just make sure that you wash the windshield when you get gas and you'll be fine!

Depends where you live, I couldn't live without it, you can adjust the spray angle with a pin in the nozzles, just direct them down on the screen, don't tell me that an M3 can't pull a small tank of water around with it?:dunno

Oh it can ;) just it pulls better without those many mililiters of water!

Thanks! Those wheels are photoshopped right now, but at the beginning of march I am painting them to look exactly like that.
