Hey everyone,

So I'm trying to replace my blower control transistor because my heater and A/C fan only run on high. I'm following these directions (http://normgrills.net/bcg/Heat_%26_AC_FAQ.html#anchor5495375) but I'm stuck below:

Is there a way to take out the frame and leave the assemblies attached to where the turn knobs are (speed and temp controls)? It seems like it wants to, but the slider levers are preventing that. Is there a way to take off those sliders so the frame can slide out but leave the temp/speed assemblies still wired where they are? Or do I need to disconnect every wire behind there and then slide the whole unit out as a whole? Any help would be great.

I'm pretty sure you need to disconnect the switches from behind AND those freakin boden cables from the back of the slider assembly. That part is a beyotch.

(Unless both the blower motor transistors are bad..... )
