I was wondering, did you only remove two 13mm bolts, and did the column only drop down maybe an inch or two? I'm trying to get to my instrument cluster and I removed the bolts, but it seems like when I lowered the column it was putting a not good pressure on the actual column/thing that connected to my steering rack under the car

Thanks
Brad

Cannot recall, but you need only drop it an inch or so to get the cluster out, assume you have removed the steering wheel.

You need to remove steering wheel too. The column will only drop a couple inches and have a "flexing" feel. Normal. Trying to get the cluster out with remove steering wheel is very difficult. Don't do it man!!! Save yourself :beer

I actually was able to remove the cluster without taking off the steering wheel, it wasn't too bad. but yea i guess that flexing is normal, i expected it to drop like way down.

You can do it with the steering wheel on. Just gotta know where everything to disconnect is before you do it :P
