Hey guys,

So here's my story & problem/s, when I 1st bought my e34 4 yrs ago everything on the electrical side of things was a ok but now I see that some lights went out along the way. I 1st noticed it last yr when my 3rd brake light didn't function, thought it was a bulb issue & fuse but nada, checked wires (tore the whole rear and parcel shelf to check), nada so I gave up since it didn't bother me at the time.

Fast forward today...now more lights are out, my trunk light (inside, left side) is out but switched bulbs with the other side, it was ok, checked the fuse and wiring, found nothing, I also went as far as changing the left inner tail light, nope. Then noticed the inner center trunk light (connected to the 3rd light wiring) is out, it was working last month so I'm stomped and can't figure out what to do.

I'm asking any of u if u guys experience this problem b4 and maybe can shed some light into said problems.

I had some 3rd brake light and license plate light issues, mine turned out to be the harness that runs down the trunk support arm rubbing together, but my brake light is in the spoiler not in the window. If you're having issues with lights that are on trunk lid, definitely rip that all apart and check every bit of it.

check the trunk's wires, they tend to touch each-other and cause fires:b_multi

just kidding but check anyway
