Hello,

There is a lot of information around, but I wanted to get a direct answer to avoid getting this wrong. I have a 1977 633CSI - auto at the moment

I have managed to get a manual box 260/5, without the motronic sensors (which doesn't bother me, I have L-jet at the moment and going to stand alone with my engine build). I think from a 1979 635.

There is another doner car - 528i with a manual .... will the other components off this doner car bolt in to my 633? Pedal box, shifter set, tailshaft, gearbox mounts?

I have a flywheel lined up too, aluminum one, which I will use now, as I am having trouble finding one and I want to lightweight for my engine build in the long run.

So ... parts? Just buy a clutch kit, one of those rubber uni things and I should be good to go?

Double check your pedal box fit. I'm not sure the 5 series is exactly the same as the six. in the pic, the shorter box assy came from a 5. My friend Fernando had one I was going to use for my conversion. Once I got the old Auto out, I could see the box lengths were different. The manual box assy both auto and manual are longer than the 5 series one. I don't know for sure on your 77. I was doing a manual conversion on my 88. 77 could have the same as the 5 series assys. I'm saying just check so you don't get caught in case you have to source one.
