Poll: Hood Stripe or Nothing?

I just got my style 42s (my favorite BMW wheel) painted in charcoal and I wanted something to accent the color if possible. I ordered up this rally stripe for $25 and slapped it on. Now I am not sure if I like it or not. The car does see the track during the summer and I have some circular white magnets with numbers for that. I haven't put the numbers on with the stripe as they are in storage, but I feel it would look good. Opinions?

I wouldn't want it on there. I am a sucker for black wheels on red cars though, I'm digging that. :)

The problem is that the doesn't add any aesthetic value or even accentuate any of the existing lines. It looks like some kid just slapped it on because RACECAR which is never a good thing.

I agree, I may try one on the trunk. I guess we will see, thankfully they are cheap and easy

I'm not a huge fan of stickers in general, so if it was my car (mine is Calypsorot, too), I'd not muck around with stripes. The e34 has such nice lines that it doesn't need any sticky accents.

But... it's a well-known fact that stripes of any kind improve the performance of any car, so whatever floats your boat (or makes your BMW run). ^_~
