I'm new to the board, and today i just picked up a '98 540 auto, that has an M5 body kit on it. However, the rear only has the opening on the left side. So i have two questions.

1) I've been reading on the forums about exhausts, and have narrowed it down to eisenmann. removing the resonators was mentioned. How much would that cost to have done, and how much work is involved.

2) I really would like the quad set up. Would it be to hard to to have a shop make a cutout on the right to match the left. I would prefer to stick with the rear i haver, but i don't want it to look like sh!t. Thanks

Not a big deal to remove resonators, your muffler shop can do that no prob. Shouldn't cost very much considering they are already installing the Eisenmann.
I'll guess maybe an extra 100 bucks.Maybe MSpecs can address your second question since he did a killer custom exhaust on his 540.
Good luck.
