Recently i overhauled my cooling system and started driving the car after finishing the overhaul the car ran great Friday, car was sitting for a couple months before i started the overhaul. I drove it around all day Saturday, not very far away from the house. Then Saturday evening i decided to take it for a longer drive, put more gas in before getting on the interstate drove great for about 15 miles then i went to get off the interstate let off the gas for a second and re-applied the gas pedal and it felt like nothing, car was still on coasted to the gas station and came to a complete stop and the car died it started right back up but was shaking real bad like a misfire but NO CODES i pressed the gas and RPM'S barely would move and the car would almost die so far i have:

Cleaned the ICV
New Fuel Pump
Unplugged the MAF(no change)
Recently replaced the Fuel filter (September 2013)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Guys!

Check your battery and alternator for proper operation and voltage, including good and tight connections. Make sure your cooling overhaul did not mess up thermostats or other electrical devices. Bad MAF and/or bad ICV will not necessarily throw a code. Other posters may have some other ideas.

Why did you change the fuel pump? Maintenance or pump quit? If pump quit, you need to change the filter too because pieces of the pump could be clogging the fuel filter.

Thermostat is fine brand new from the stealer and I'm positive nothing got screwed up electrical during the overhaul.I changed the fuel pump because it did not sound healthy, i needed to change it anyways for preventative maintenance, because I bought the car last July. Same symptoms but healthier sounding pump. Connections are good checked it already. I'm going to rent the fuel pressure tester from autozone tomorrow and measure the fuel pressure and see if it is manufactures specs. I wonder if I got bad gas.
