Hey guys I know its not a E34 but figure I would give the E34 guys first crack at it. I'm selling my E36 daily driver its an automatic M50tu car and has 262k miles. It gets driven 18 miles a day as my daily driver and has been used on countless road trips including to the east coast for bimmerfest. Averages mid 30s on the highway and mid to low 20s in the city. Anyways some details.

The Good
- New OEM BMW control arms (fall of 2013)
- New OEM BMW control arm lollipop bushings (fall of 2013)
- Used good 90k mile steering rack (fall of 2013)
- Used good 214k mile cluster (1/2014 so its off by about 48k miles)
- New OEM BMW tie rods (fall of 2013)
- New OEM BMW fuel pump in (fall of 2013)
- New OEM BMW sending unit and fuel pump gaskets on tank (fall of 2013)
- New OEM BMW front rotors (fall of 2013)
- New OEM BMW front pads (fall of 2013)
- New tires (fall of 2013)
- Used good 110k mile MAF (summer 2013)
- New OEM BMW orings and hoses for ICV and stuff under the plenum (summer 2013)
- New OEM BMW manifold gaskets (summer 2013)
- New parts store alternator (fall 2012)
- Have a bunch of OEM BMW fuel line kits I was going to replace this spring.
- Pulls hard and doesn't burn oil.
- Alignment after above suspension work.

The Bad
- Needs front wheel bearings, only one is going out but I would bet the other side would follow soon so both should be replaced (~$270 from Turner for both and required hardware)
- Could use shocks and shock mounts to be perfect (~$775 from Turner for all four shocks and front and rear shock mounts)
- Its about time to do a cooling system overhaul since the last one was done at 130k miles (~$430 from Turner for new pump, radiator, expansion tank, hoses, thermostat, thermostat housing, cap, and level sensor)
- Needs a heater valve or a bypass (~$220)
- Drivers seat back rest adjustment stopped working.
- Transmission slips if you stop suddenly then get back on the gas quickly, has no issues in daily driving so I haven't worried about it.
- Has oil leaks . . . its old :confused.
- Starting to feel a driveline vibration around 2500rpm, most likely a guibo or u joint. Not bad but is there.

The Ugly
- Paint needs some love since its 21 years old, but no major rust.
- Drivers door catch arm has been removed since wind caught the door and damaged it and managed to dent the door.
- Typical E36 interior issues, the glove box cover has de-laminated and the speaker in the passenger door has fallen in and the door card is loose.
- Door seals could be replaced.

By no means a perfect car but definitely has life left in it if someone wants to devote some time to it and a little money. I had planned a couple of trips to the junk yard to fix most of the cosmetic issues for cheap and the above listed maintenance. Or if you don't need a daily driver its a engine to rebuild for a turbo build in a drivable shipping crate that can be scrapped for ~$300 and the good parts and tires thrown on your car or stored for later. I have parts receipts for the most recent work and will get some pics up tomorrow.
