So looking back through my photos, the last Bear Mt. meet that I went to was August of 2009. I didn't even have a functioning E34 at the time and drove our then new X3 with our dog who was just a puppy. Can't believe that was 5 years ago now. We definitely need to plan something this summer (after the bodywork is done and before I pull the M30).
I also found photos from the 2007 and 2008 gatherings at Ben's shop in Cheshire. I'll try to post them over the weekend.

I see the hotel pictures from that PA meet when I showed up in the $1k 525i/5 I had bought a few days before.

Ben showed me how to do one-wheel-peels and in the process toasted the flex disc. That was a good time.

I'll pm the op. All his various forums threads are cold. It appears he stopped using that name. He had several thread on this forum about block deck height under a new username. He was found out, banned, and all the threads towed. I can't find his username and I bet that would put me on the right course. I hope he isn't dead.

Yeah, once he got banned from here he posted on r3v, and his thread there turned sour. He went to Pelican's forums, but didn't get much attention, so started creating fake accounts here, but was so ridiculous he got found out pretty quickly. He was gone a while until he finally killed that poor e34 and picked up an e38. He was derping it up in the e38 sub and was exposed again. Someone innocently dropped a pic of his intake manifold in one of his threads there, and that was the last we heard from him under that account. He's probably back lurking somewhere.
