I have a 2000 bmw 540/6 with the sports package. Right now I have 17" style 32 sheels which I am selling and I am looking to get either 18" OEM E39 M5 wheels or 18" OEM M-parallels. I know the M-parallels will fit because they were optional for the 2003 540 sport but will the 18" OEM E39 M5 wheels fit my car?

As far as I know, you're fine, as long as you keep the front tires at 245. Going larger might require rolling the fenders.

How much you want for your 17"? What is the condition and size of tires?

heard you have to upgrade the wheel liners to those from the m5 or you'll have rubbing issues in the rear.

yeah i heard about the M5 liners also. That is minor work so I'm not worried. thank for all the feedback.
TIVIC-I have the 17" style 32 stagerred wheels. 17X8 and 17X9. The tires are 235/45 in the front and 255/40 in the rear. The tires are 6 month old All-season Continental ExtremeContact tires. They are a great all season tire that is good enough to keep my 540 stable at high speeds, excellent in the rain, and also allow me to drive my RWD 282 hp beast in the snow. it is great because I don't have to go through the hassle of changing my wheels in the winter. They are all perfectly straight, no bent rims. A little curb rash but still in very good condition. Polish them and you are good to go for the summer. I'm looking to get a $1000 for wheels and tires. make me an offer they must go.
