Has anyone had their body shop prep/paint/clear their keyfob?

Got tapped from behind a week ago and have an appointment to have it prepped / filled / painted (it's really just two license plate bracket bolt marks in the rear cover). Haven't had my replacement (ebay POS) blank cut yet, it's still in two pieces ... considering having them paint it silver to match the car.

I'm on the fence - will it be super gay / ricer / scratchable or would it be awesome?

The paint will get beat to hell and look like garbage. Don't do it.

Wrap it in vinyl. Easy to remove if you change your mind.
